IIRC, Madrid handed Deportivo a heavy defeat with 8 goals at the Riazor last season, or the season before.

Why did anyone expect them to suddenly do something?

Our hope lies on three teams. Valencia, Celta and Sevilla.

And out of those three only one is away game :(

those type of games give Laliga a bad rep amongs growing markets ( especially Usa). Premierleague is more competetive. Laliga needs to be managed better. They have to provide mid-table teams with some resources.

We only very recently lost to both Depor and Malaga, had a tough win over Sociedad at home. Real Madrid needed a last minute goal vs Gijon and drew at home to Atletico.

Chelsea have the same number of points as Real Madrid in the same number of games.

It's more that there are legions of Prem fans, Bundesliga fans and Serie A fans that eagerly await either us or Real (the two best teams in the world in the last several years) to smash a minor Liga side and then commence their "La Liga is a joke" chorus at full tilt.

Haters gonna hate.

2 draws also would make us champions if we win everything. Its not impossible. all teams left could do it potentially.
If we do end up with 90 points and still end up losing in going to blame the refs for so many times they screwed us over.
I prefer Real to somehow lose a match though and us winning on h2h result based of that last second Messi goal.

How? If it was 1:1 and 2:2, how would the winner be determined? Number of goals, goal difference?

Goal difference. But now that I have looked them up, Barca and Real are not that far off, only 4. We do have many more goals ahead though.
