They were incredibly lucky to get first in their group given the way they played, and that was in the weakest group in the CL.

Haha Pep lad. No more intense than any other league eh. A bit difficult when you arent far and away the best team in the league and can steamroll over the other 95%.

His players massively underperformed tonight. The difference between these teams was their execution in the final third. City had tons of possession and control for two-thirds of the pitch but did not at all execute when they did find space to penetrate. Way too many overhit through-balls and it's precisely this which Leicester executed masterfully tonight. Whenever they penetrated, they passed with precision and Vardy was ruthless. Credit deserved to Leicester because they were excellent tonight but City just were really below par in execution.

Only thing I'd say with Pep's tactics was that it was always going to be a gamble playing a back 3 against Vardy. I'd say they almost need another 9 that could give them something a bit different if he doesn't like what Kun can offer right now. They seem caught between his tactics here at Barça and his Bayern tactics by attacking aerially in the final third but they don't have the tall bodies in the box for that and I'd argue that he needs better defenders on the ball to play more of the stuff he did with us so City can work the ball out smoother from the back.

well, with this city team, he would not steamroll in la liga and bundes also

not sure what pep was thinking with that setup...it was like he never watched leicester play last season.

They had the group wrapped up before anyone else although it was a simple group.

The problem with Leicester is no Kante and Mahrez and Vardy are keeping themselves for champions league games.

Vardy only had 3 shots the whole game .. and scored 3 goals lol ..
