Like what would even be the point of signing Yerry at all if he isn't capable of playing CB better than a mediocre backup LB? That's Marc Bartra territory...

I think EV just doesn't know him, for that he might stick to Pique-Umtiti and may be Mascherano until he leaves for a while. But if Mina impress in training he will use him.
But doubt he will go as far as using Digne, EV has shown that if your name isn't Arda you will always get your chance

You don't want to throw him to the wolves. Let the guy adapt and study our players in trainings and slowly build his playing time up. We are not in hurry. Mina is long-term project and we shouldn't rush him.
