We need to put all release clauses at 500+ mil regardless who the player is. How come Real can do this and pay low wages while we have the opposite going on?

1-RM clauses is tabloid bs, they don't announce it. so we don't know the figures
2-If they actually put such clauses-very unlikely- and the players want out, he goes to court and get that buyout removed and the court will put a new realistic one.

I didnt know that was possible. Always thought clubs/players could stick to the agreed upon clause.

People here really overrate release clauses. If players are happy here they will stay even if their clauses would be 1€. When they want to leave, they will usually leave for a fee way below their clause, because 1. we can't sell and 2. we usually want to get rid of those players and/or their high wages so we accept whatever we can get for them.

Since early 80's Spanish law decide that every employer should have a realistic release clause in his contract related to his salary and hence footballers is no exception, if it is up for Liga they would remove it.
And sooner or later this will be universal, player association already asked FIFA for it in their last negotiations but accepted to remove their demand as they got a win in some other issues, but don't be surprised if they will ask for it again or we had another Bosman, although I think it will happen in few decades and not in years

It goes both ways tbh, I like how Sociedad and Bilbao do it, they put big but affordable buyouts and ask clubs to pay it, and hence they usually sell players above their market value.
But it hurt us with the likes of Thiago and Bartra, even with Neymar and Figo although both were expensively sold the club wanted both to stay and it hurt the club image to some extent

I have no idea why Yerry Mina has so many haters already. But I'm loving it.

Cannot wait till he dances everytime he scores.

I wish we had this guy while Puyol was still at the club. Don't think Iniesta or Messi are vocal enough to say anything.

It depends on the match situation. There is really nothing wrong with dance celebrations.

I've seen people call Mina a clown and an idiot already.
