This is barca we are talking about not Madrid. Gomes might have good resale value though because of Mendes. But rest if they fail it will be hard to offload them for decent money. I can already see how everyone will be ditching Digne on how useless he is and how we are not able to sell him.

Yeah, just like how they were able to sell the likes of Alex Song, Verma, etc to No-Brain EPL clubs for huge chunks of money! I guess them being ex-superstars in that country helped!!

We've sold players we don't want. Montaya was used in a deal which took Gomes away from Real Madrid. We would have gotten around 5m for him, compared to the 15m we saved on Gomes with his fee being 35 instead of 50 without bonuses. Alves wasn't his fault , there was a clause in his contract which we needed him to sign last year, Sandro choose not to sign a new deal , he knew he wouldn't play here. Apart from Madrid and Bayern, who have so much good players in the same position they can sell top class players and still make money, most teams who sell unwanted players, especially at Barca because players sometimes wanna stay, they sell for really low. We are probably making back the money we are losing by letting players go for free , on the wages they would have gotten if we didnt sell them asap.
