So nobody asked nothing about Lemar? Did we even try to sign him? If Coutinho was really 200 mil they should have tried with Lemar...

Liverpool deny the 200m figure, so either they r lying or Robert just take this figure out of his ass and outright lie to the press and the fan

Who would I trust.....the people who put up a public statement saying Coutinho will not be sold at any cost this summer and kept that line the entire summer or the people who claimed the Coutinho deal was done, that it was hours, minutes, seconds away, the people who claimed Messi had already signed his renewal, the people who have lied since 2010.

Who should I trust?

They only made up the figure so they could boast about caring about the financial well-being on the club and not putting it at risk by cashing that much on Coutinho.

Basically, make themselves look like heroes who put the financial well-being of the club first and not caving to the big evil market.

Cowards.

These guys are lying through their asses. Not only have they screwed the club but also the club's relationship with other clubs. PSG wouldn't sell us a virus and other clubs would probably follow suit.

He is the sporting director, and he didn't know that one of our players had planned to leave. First major mistake, and shows he is out of touch with the squad and the situation in the club.

Next, he complains that prices are too high. Well, not if we weren't in a shit-position regarding the squad in the first place. Let us take a look at the available players this summer, who could have strengthened our squad/starting 11, when we were chasing Verratti like a headless chicken, while anyone with half a brain could see it wouldn't happen:

Mahmoud Dahoud went for 12M€ to Dortmund. Big talent, with possession-based skills. Not guaranteed WC, but 12M isn't much.
Dani Ceballos went for 17M€ to Real Madrid. We tried, and that was wise, but it goes to show that prices are not insane as they suggest.
Bernardo Silva went for 50M€ to Manchester City. Huge talent, who has flair, creativity and much of the same qualities as Coutinho, although not quite there yet.
Youri Tielemans went for 25M€ to Monaco. Big talent, but younger and therefore more risky investment. Cheap, talented midfielder.
Bakayoko went for 40M€ to Chelsea.

Fabinho to united for 30-40M was rumoured, we didn't go for him.
Seri was available for 40M if we paid any attention to anything else than Verratti blinking or not in PSG-promovideos.

Conclusion:
Young talented midfielders went for 20-40M€ this window, and we managed to get 1 old chinese-league-player for 40M€. Therefore it was not insane prices that kept us from getting a better squad, but simply bad planning.

And seriously, if we talk about near-WC players like Coutinho we should start bidding before August, and have a plan B. We were obsessed with Verratti and thereafter Coutinho, when there were a lot of other good options.

Barçapocalypse NOW!
I thought Txiki was bad, then came Zubi and I thought no one could do worse, but holy shit this guy takes the cake by a mile! And on top of that he believes it's not his fault and has the nerve to stay at the club... FUCK THIS GUY!

According to Cat Radio, Robert could be fired due to the problems during this summer in the transfer market.

If he goes they should get rid of Segura as well. but we all know that won't happen.

Fire him from his current position but perhaps keep him as a an external consultant for CB signings.
