Guerreiro should do a solid job as Alba's backup if we get him. Injuries are concerning but the same can be said for other players we are considering for that position (Firpo, F.Luis).

I assume Filipe prefers going to a team where he'll be a starter and possibly also get longer term contract that we're prepared to give him at his age while Firpo wants more playing time he'll get here for the next season or two at least.

I don't think anything is decided yet when it comes to LB position and we could still end up with anyone of those three or even sign someone else. We'll probably wait and see how transfer market will develop (mostly depending on De Ligt's decision) and how much money we'll get from selling players before we'll eventually sign a LB.

the portuguese on reddit say he is bad as a LB, even favre realizes that, which is why he plays as LM for dortmund

I feel like our search for full backs can be so scattergun.
