If anybody should have been dropped after the first match its Mbappe and Tolliso. Play a flat 4-4-2 with Griezmann and Giroud as the strikers, Lemar and Dembele as wingers, Pogba and Kante in the middle.

Wonder why Mbappe is untouchable when he's only scored 4 goals in 16 apps and has regressed at PSG this season. 13th top scorer in Ligue 1 while playing every match on the best team in the league by far and only 5 goals since the turn of the new year. His style of play has also suffered with him being less decisive and his decision making becoming much worse than his days at Monaco.

Neither Mbappe and Dembele belong anywhere near the starting French starting XI, but Mbappe has his spot nailed down for the next 15 years since he's been dubbed the "next one" and given the number 10.

These guys are great prospects, but immensely raw and overrated. You don't win CL's and WC's with players like that.

France really starting Giroud and Matuidi instead of Dembouz and Tolisso lol

Not that Dembele was great in the first game but Matuidi, Kante, Pogba, Griezmann, Giroud, Mbappe with Lucas/Pavard as fullbacks sounds awful imo.
