Higher release clause is associated with higher salary. Not every Madrid player has 1B clause btw. Most around 400-500m.

Neymar and his papa definitely set that release clause to be able to get out. They'd have rejected an unrealistic clause.

PSG might have the money but even 400 Million for one player is too much even by their standards.

They would have to straight up deposit the 400 Million euros in order to break the contract. There's no splitting the payment up either.

Alba was interviewed today and had this to say about Dembele.

“He is very important for us, everyone can make mistakes but in the dressing room there has never been a problem with Dembele. He is succeeding on the pitch and away from it he can improve but we are happy with him.
