He had very good second half yesterday. Only a blind man can’t see the amount of potential this kid has. He needs time and patience that’s all.

0.71 assists per 90. (played 380 minutes for Barca, has 3 assists).

That is potential. If he works on his linkup play and finishing, he will be a beast.

He needs also to work on keeping it simpler and keep the possession and marking players when we need him to. He has a long long way to go.

Although flew under the radar yesterday, Xavi Campos who is considered one of the most reliable reporters in Barcelona was talking about how some Barca Executives were concerned that we made the wrong choice to Sign Dembele to replace Ney and wouldn't rule out transfer of Dembele this summer for big money.

MD put out in article pretty much denying these claims that we are remotely even considering this idea.

Doubt we'd give up on him after one season, in which he was mostly injured.

But who knows. With Griezmann coming...

If we give up on him after 1 season, that would probably be one of stupidest things FC Barcelona's executives have ever done.

Potentially flushing 60-70 million down the toilet and losing a top 3 prospect in football.

It is one hell of a job to make it at a club of this magnitude at the age of 20. We just have to look where the likes of shootingstar Salah or Coutinho were when they were 20. There is not much room for bad performances since you have no time at a club like Barça.

It takes a lot to succeed and the necessary talent is just one of many deciding factors. Let's hope he stays injury-free and learns to play the Barça-way and he can gain self-confidence.

I noticed the likes of Messi, Suarez and Rakitic actually passing him the ball and noticing his runs last night. That is a vast improvement and stark contrast from his previous matches where the entire team basically ignored him; that in itself is a huge positive.

This. Especially Messi and Rakitić. Suarez was passing to him before, but as we know, he is rarely involved in the buildup play.
