In the first leg of Champions League quarter Final FC Barcelona defeated Arsenal in London with 2 goals from Leo Messi.

Lionel Messi made a clinical finish to a counterattack move that featured Luis Suarez and Neymar in the 71st minute and then scored an 83rd minute penalty to seal the first-leg match vs. Arsenal.

The five-time World player of the year decided a game that Barcelona had dominated, without taking all the chances that came the way of its feared strike trio.

Rakitic's defensive work rate and smart, no risk play are a big reason why we're so good.

We might be better offensively with Verratti but we're incredible as is while losing Rakitic would mean losing a lot of defensive stability in the midfield.
