Mahmoud Dahoud

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
Dortmund has brought in an immense amount of talent, and just continuing - nice work.

Allegedly 12M. € is a great price as well - if we hadn't had so many back-up midfielders he should be a clear target.

Would simply move those backup midfielders elsewhere if a player like Dahoud, a CM, is available for as little as 12m. Cillessen cost that much.

Denis, Rafinha, Arda are not midfielders, and Gomes' first season been really bad. Even Arda sitting out 6 months showed more glimpses of brilliance than Gomes has so far, even though Arda overall has been mediocre for a midfield signing. We didn't spend 34 + 7m for him to be Neymar's backup.

This was a perfect signing. Young, a proper CM, a step away from the German NT and low cost(transfer & wages).

If he becomes a success and fills the void Gundogan left at Dortmund, cue the Dahoud to Barca rumors next year ;)

It would be better if we sign and promote actual center- or attacking midfielders in the place of all the wide mf/wingers we have.

12€ is an immense steal.
Worth atleast twice.
He would fight for a startingspot in Barcelona, much better than Denis, Gomes, Rafinha etc.

I hate our scouting...

We should get this guy next summer, he's an amazing dribbler with a good vision and some killer passes. Oh and he's not that bad at defending either.

Let me guess, no release clause.
It's rare that you will see releases clauses outside spain.

which makes Spain look ridiculous. The clubs have little sway in if a club comes and pays the buyout fee and if the player agrees to the move as well. only way this could be counter acted is if their release clause is high enough where the buying club won't be willing to pay for it.
