With overloaded schedule this season there's a concern with players being fatigued so let's look at who played the most this season.

Bravo - 1980 minutes

Alves - 2553
Pique - 2532
Mascherano - 2806
Alba - 2218

Busquets - 2843
Rakitic - 2738
Iniesta - 2156

Messi - 2399
Suarez - 3180
Neymar - 2693

Those are without international duties. Would be great if we had a total.

Pretty balanced, but still a lot, especially for Busi/Masche/Raki.

Do we have complete stats from last season or up to this point ?

Some of these players have proven they can successfully play way too many minutes. I'm thinking of Masch, Messi and Alves. Alves won't be asked to play too much any more, with his advancing age and very fine new backup. Overplaying Rak should be a thing of the past since Arda became eligible.

With Suarez on pace to score 60, it will be very hard to not include him every game.

Roberto has played 29 Total matches this season and started 21 of them.

He has played a total of 1962 minutes on the field this season. that's a lot more at this point than any other times in his career for the first team.

There are a maximum of 16 games left in the season. The final stretch starts on Saturday against Getafe and Barcelona go into that game with Luis Enrique having rotated his team to a certain degree throughout the campaign. Rotations which have led to a group of 12 players, largely, playing regularly.

The player who has played the most is Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan striker has played 3,240 minutes in La Liga (2,430), the Champions League (540) and the Copa del Rey (270). He’s been, by some way, the player most used by Luis Enrique. His performances have been good, too, as he’s already scored 42 goals.

In second place in another forward: Neymar. The Brazilian and Suarez are the only two players who have surpassed 3,000 minutes. Neymar has reached 3,057 among La Liga (2,157), the Champions League (540) and the Copa del Rey (360). The third component of the trident, Leo Messi, is a long way below them. Because of an injury he has only played 2,548 minutes so far this season.

The third most utilised player in Luis Enrique’s squad is Sergio Busquets. The ‘motor’ of the Barça team has played 2,872 minutes, a little more than Ivan Rakitic (2,768). In the middle of the pitch the surprising thing is that Sergi Roberto is the third player with the most minutes. He’s played 2,116 in comparison to Andres Iniesta’s 2,083.

In defence, Javier Mascherano is the most regular. The Argentine has played 2,734 minutes, although some of those have been in midfield as a replacement for Busquets. The second in this position is Gerard Pique (2,611) and Jordi Alba is third (2,414).
