We tend to struggle in these 4:00 pm games, I hope we open the New Year with a bang and reverse the curse.

A win is all I want. And no injuries please.

I just hope there will be no ref spectacle like last year's Lahoz perfomance.

Oh, do expect one after Spanish FA basically admitted that the penalty we got vs. Betis was a ref mistake.
Curiously, there was nothing about Madrid-Sociedad and their last few matches.

9 games in January. Tthe ideal would trash Asspanyol on the 1st leg and rest the main players on the 2nd leg. MSN for Arda, Vidal and Sandro, for instance.

Let's first beat them in the league before we think of Copa.
Over 2 legs they have no chances anyway.

Looking forward to this. Alba and a few other first teamers got a rest. Arda and Vidal will be joining the squad after the match. We should go all guns blazing from the very first second.

As usual Espanyol will make it tough for us. They have a lot of energy in reserve after dropping their pants vs Madrid. Would be ecstatic if we thrash them in their own stadium but a win will do
