The fact that we drew Espanyol for the Copa del Rey 1/8 mixed with the casualties from the calendar makes it that the 1st team will not need to leave Barcelona until 24th of January!

Saw that on the calendar. Benefit of playing Pericos in Copa

It's great for the team and in perfect time as Barca are bound to come back a bit rusty after the holidays.

The Club World Cup is already in the bag. Players not travelling in over a month will be great for our fitness levels.

Out of curiousity, how close is Espanyol to Camp Nou? Do they just have to travel by a bus?

Going by map on my phone its only 15 minute drive from camp nou to espanyols stadium
