For all of his shortcomings, this one is on Wilmots. Fellaini was brought on to knock off high balls to his teammates and to defend corners. He did both things decently.

Not much of his fault if Wilmots decided to vacate the right wing and put even more players in the (already congested) center

Wilmots is an idiot alright, but the least this turd can do when he plays is not to be a donkey by fouling everyone all the time. Destroys all the momentum when this idiot cones barging in for no apparent reason.

Played for United and Everton but one of my favourite players ever. Every squad needs a Fellaini and if you disagree you don't know ball.
