Riyad Mahrez

Mahrez could be lethal at Liverpool. If he can replicate or improve on his POTY season then him and VVD for coutinho is well worth it. Would be a good move. Not sure where he would play though.

He plays in the same position / area as Salah so how would that work ??

Unless it's just an insurance policy with Real sniffing around Salah

Amazing performance yesterday, I was really against him coming here but he right now is head and shoulders above Dembele/Malcom.
But of course its all about Pep, if he came here under EV, he would be as good as Denis possibly.

Right now...? He has been a world class player since he was a key reason for Leicester's title winning season, along with Vardy and Kante. Only reason people were reluctant to consider him so was because he is a late bloomer and played for Leicester.

He had a solid one season when Leicester City won the league, then he lost his form until he met Pep.

He was fantastic for Leicester, usually one of the best players in the Premier League. He is underutilized with his current team. Not that City has done poorly when Mayrez has been on the bench, but his current manager certainly has not gotten as much out of him as his managers at Leicester.

Probably because he was the #1 option at Leicester and not even the 3rd option if starting at Man City.

Not true at all. Him and Vardi were consistently the brightest spots in Leicester team for the two seasons after their victory in the PL.

Do you watch Premier League football? He was consistently Leicester's best player, the focal point of their creativity.

No, not really. He had a sharp decline after the winning season and only recovered some of his forms after January 2017. In his title-winning season, he won 10 MotM while he only won 8 the next two seasons combined!

That’s not surprising, the whole Leicester team declined massively, and 8 MOTMs in two seasons is still impessive considering how shit Leicester got. Pretty sure that’s still the most MOTM of that Leicester team on par with Vardi. During his title winning season he was on another level of course, but still a very good player during the next two as well, at times unplayable.
