Disappointing game all in all. It would be been penalties, if not for two mistakes leading to the two late goals.

Anyhow, we're through to the quarters.

Very cagey affair. FCM sitting deep playing on fast breaks, and us unable to create anything noteworthy losing way too many balls in their third of the pitch. Even after their red card midway through the second half, we still couldn't create chances.

... And yeah, you know what happened during the last ten minutes.

FCM was tactically and physically superior. They lacked talent in attack to score goals. While Barcelona showed good attacking display, they lacked game structure. When FCM used high pressing there were no Barca player in the mid to receive ball. There were like 20 mins we couldn't deliver the ball to the forwards because of no passing options.

I am watching Chelsea - Valencia on German station Sport1+HD and for whatever reason they are showing really nice highlights of this season's El Clasico at halftime. Highlight reel with slow-mos and stuff, Neymar's tricks on Danilo from different perspectives etc. Pretty awesome.
