Tough game to start the group with. Hopefully we can make it another win against a tough opponent.

I'd rest Busquets at least. He played too much recently.

Really difficult game.

Why? I mean I'm not trying to underestimate Roma, but we just beat a way better opponent very convincingly without Messi playing the whole 90 min, more than that, Roma have some major flaws, there will be a lot of space to exploit.

If we are serious, this game should not be a problem.

Let's end this quickly with our best 11, then give rest to some key players.

Gerard Piqué, who still has one game left to serve of a four-game suspension in La Liga, has been included in the squad for the match versus AS Roma.

The complete list: ter Stegen, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Iniesta, Suarez, Messi, Neymar, Rafinha, Mascherano, Bartra, Munir, Jordi Alba, Sandro, Sergi Roberto, Adriano, Mathieu, Masip, Gumbau and José Suárez.
Staying behind in the Catalan capital are: Douglas, Dani Alves, Bravo and Vermaelen. Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal cannot participate in European competition until 1 January 2016.

Last training session at Ciutat Esportiva

Following Saturday's 2–1 victory over Atlético de Madrid at the Vicente Calderón and a well-earned day off on Sunday, the team returned to training on Monday morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. Everyone available took part, plus Barça B goalkeeper Jose Suarez and Under 19 player Carles Aleñà. The team's next workout will be on Tuesday afternoon at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
