Gabriel Jesus

Again, first class movement and space awareness but he seems a little limited in other aspects of the game or at least to me. I expected someone with such hype to be a dribbling machine or a skill merchant but he doesn't seem that type of player at all.

He had 4 dribbles. He is not the player you think he is. Much more of a prolific striker than skill specialist like Neymar.

He is so similar to Chicharito, obviously still very young and will be better but his movement is looking very good so far.

He can actually do both but I have a feeling Pep is instructing him to stick with the basics. He was a lot more diverse in the Brasileirao. I'm sure he is just waiting to have spent more time under Pep before he starts doing more of his own thing.

Gabriel Jesus will be tested for a possible ruptured cruciate ligament, and if that is the case he would be ruled out of the World Cup. [@10JoseAlvarez]

Damn, if he ruptured it, it could be a huge blow for Brazil in the WC. No so much for City, who still have Aguero. It can also be a massive boost for Argentina, because Aguero will get a lot of playing time and will be in form for the WC.

Surely one of the biggest flops of the tournament.

He's a limited player, can't see him ever becoming an elite striker like he was hyped up to be a year or so ago.

He has age on his side but yeah not a great tournament. He's playing like a Poacher, just not doing enough to be involved in the play like Firmino would for Brazil.

I hope Barca fans don't use Jesus as an example of him failing in the WC to prove that Arthur won't be good for us without him ever getting a chance yet.

He showcased glimpses of his incredible technique, dribbling, and pace in the tournament. He's not a limited striker, I think the pressure just got to him. Don't judge players on WC performances.

I said around a year ago I don't see what the deal is with this guy apart from some tap-ins here and there and he confirmed. He is quite skilful but not a dribbler and his finishing is average unless from very close range.

He's simply not the finished article . Brazil paid the price for persisting with him and Paulhino for too many games .

As soon as Firmini came on yesterday Brazil were a different team then when Costa was added they looked fabulous
