Casemiro

Even if he does as well as last season, are we really relying on Casemiro not getting injuried in two seasons? Risky.
Kroos isnt a DM, and neither is anyone else in our squad.

Ramos to the rescue
What happened to Lucas Silva btw?

Can Sissoko play DM? He was linked to you guys.

Weigl the gem on the other hand is out of your reach.

Out with an injury, probably against Villarreal, maybe Las Palmas as well.

Let's see how they will manage, but they are most likely gonna play like shit and win anyway like always :zidane:

Shame for Casemiro, but I can't really deny that it's such a huge blow that their (argubaly) most important player atm will be out for them.

Don't know why Zidane didn't even bother to actually sign a back-up for the Brazilian.

Kroos don't have the kind of defensive presence to cover the space and win balls back.

I think the likes of Las Palmas and BVB won't have too much trouble to expose them without Casemiro.

Most important player? lol
Casemiro hinders their game (meaning Kroos and Modric) in 99% of matches. He can be useful against teams like Barca or Bayern when RM has to sit deeper to not be overrun by proactive opponents that have world class individuals. But apart from that he is basically useless.
That does not mean Casemiro is not able to play well or does not have any positive influence on games but against most teams he is not needed. Not a really good comparison but imagine a DM instead of Busi in our team that is only there to destroy opposition attacks. He would have nothing to do most of the time, hinder his mates Raki and Iniesta in build-up and be useless in possession.

I wouldn't really say Casemiro's useless as he's actually vital to their defensive balance, as well as their transition out of the back, because Modric and Kroos are more used to being further update pitch and participating in the attack.

And considering how missed the Brazilian was against Las Palmas last weekend, I don't really think Madrid will be able to withstand the force from Borussia Dortmund. And they (and Las Palmas as well) are, of course, quite inferior compared to us and Bayern Munchen.
