The tournament started yesterday 17/6 and ends 30/6. Eight teams qualified divided into two groups and the top two teams will directly qualify for the semi-finals.

Group A:
- Denmark
- Germany
- Serbia
- Czech Republic

Group B:
- Italy
- Sweden
- England
- Portugal

Ter Stegen is playing for Germany in this tournament by the way.

Our centrebacks aren't very good, it should be stones and chambers but oh well. Lingard and Carroll shouldnt really be in the team either.

Galning (or anyone really), did you happen to watch Italy vs Sweden? Only caught the end and was wondering if the scoreline reflected the game. I know there was a penalty and red card for each side.

Bernardo Silva was quality for Portugal.

Really Strong Starting XI for England with Kane leading the attack...

Disagree. If it were full strength the only players who would still be in that XI would be Kane and Butland, and maybe Jenkinson. We'll be punished again for not respecting the competition and bringing our best squad. Everyone else drops players down from the seniors and we don't, then wonder why we don't do well.

Ideally the team might have looked like this...

Well Wilshere is a holding midfielder for the seniors now, but you could swap AOC out for Ward-Prowse I suppose too.

Compared to last competition the team was quite good although there was nobody half decent in the Central midfield..Obviously that full squad would've been a lot better but most club managers were against that so you can't blame the FA for that...

Wenger said he wanted Wilshere to go earlier in the season but Southgate said no. He's new in the job so maybe he doesn't realise what a step up the tournament is on qualification and friendlies. I hope he doesn't make the same mistake next time if we qualify though.
