    Default Manchester United

I guess it`s about time Manchester United had a thread here.
Any news on the most recent thing with Ronaldo after the match vs. City?

Ronaldo wasnt happy about being subbed against City and fair enough nobody wants to come off the pitch during a big game but we need Ronaldo fit for the bigger games ahead.

United are looking in good shape for the final in Rome so you Barca fans beware we are the best team in the world you can play your magic football but we have our own superstars who can destroy anyone .

as per,it'll be blown up as a reason for him going in the summer.

whereas in truth,he's a show off who likes and looks for the limelight (in any and every way) and he either wanted to express his genuine disdain for his being subbed,or he was annoyed at not getting to finish the game (which is a pretty good way to be in fairness).

    tbh,i think it's 80/20 to the former.

players shouldn't want to be subbed, rested or dropped, but there are ways of getting dragged off if you're not doing what's wanted of you,and apparently he wasn't.

no bother,it'll be something different next week,i've no doubt.

    he's still great though.

Fergie doesnt care about the Ronaldo thing. He says that its good because it show that he wants to play. Personally I think he was being a prick.

hey lads can i enter this debate and give my vies on the whole Messi versus Cristaino debate?

my view is that Ronaldo is better not by much but i think he is the better all round player but i believe Messi has been this season there is no denying it! ill be the first to hold my hand up on that one! but i think the fact that Ronaldo is having a "poor" season and yet has scored 26 goals this season says alot about him too he also had no pre season and missed the first two months of the season with injury...would Messi be able to compete with Ronaldo like Ronaldo is with Messi if he was having a poor season?

i think there is aspects in the game where Messi is better such as team work ball control dribbling passing but i think Ronaldo wins in pace strength heading finishing free kicks crossing and i think when it comes to big games Ronaldo performs slightly better then Messi!

thats my view i don't think its biased its just my honest opion and for the record i rate Xavi above Messi !

was posting this in the Ronaldo thread but couldn't post it?? so will post it here if thats ok?

Jeez why are all ManU fans like this? Baca have got three forwards, agreed that Utd have a good back line, but the problem is the midfield play, + Utd defence is NOT good against wing play. To add, wing play is the route used by . Sums it up.

This is gonna be a Blue's day

    Indeed, it keeps on going.

I personally think it's jealousy from teh fans. United has won about everything there is to win the last two years and still the media is mostly (or only) talking about the brilliance of Barcelona's play. And you can win a game against us, but the brilliance of the play will still be there.

edit: this is how i perceive it, of course

tbh we haven't played brilliantly for long spells this season though have we. :confused0006:
what we might be the best in the world at is being able to adapt to situations due to our squad flexibility and the experience it's got/getting.

hello mr sweeping statement.we're NOT all like that, but ,don't ruin a tall tale i suppose.
and please cite a few instances of us struggling of late vs wing play as i'm hard pushed to remember a whole bunch of strugglations . i do hope it's not another case of

i get that, but again, tbf, every United fan i know loves watching barca play and class your club as a club apart.
and again,we don't really get overburdened with pro barca media over here either,as you'd expect, and as a consequence i don't think jealousy would ever really happen.
admiration with a cynical eye on some obvious flaws is probably more the case..if that makes sense.

Yeah, our defence is not even near Manchester's. i get that. Still, i keep thinking that most of you reds enjoy our play in a patronizing way.

    Hello you man united fans
Do you know that in my country we have an idiot who changed his name to Manchester Levidjov United....His son probably will inherit a stupid name, something like Beckham Manchesterov. He fought 7 years with the authorities to change his name. I've always said that United fans are nuts :grandpamaz, I love the new smilies, I'm sure this one was your idea)

Man U fans think the footballing world ends outside Old Trafford I wouldn't take much notice of what they have to say.

Don't care. We never proclaimed ourselves as the best team ever, the media and their overreactions did. Never seen any fan or member of the club themselves say we are the best team thats ever played the game so their fans can think what they want.
