Definitely need him fully recovered for Atletico, him and Iniesta will be key in holding the ball, in a very high pressure midfield layout.

I'm glad he didn't start now the tie is over and we're through. He's had a decent amount of rest of late. Meaning he should be fresh for out next run of games. There's no one like him in the squad.

Yea, basically, both our goals came from bypassing the midfield today. Mascherano -> Neymar -> Alba -> Messi and Alves -> Suarez. Kind of shows our midfield had an off day. Which is why apart from several players having a great match (Messi, Suarez, Alves, Pique and Bravo mostly), our game suffered for large portions, even with numerical advantage.

I'll gladly take the win and 3 pts though.

I found him to be very solid today.
