Turkey's Cüneyt Çakir will referee the 2015 UEFA Champions League final between Juventus and FC Barcelona following his appointment by the UEFA Referees Committee.

The match at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday 6 June will be officiated by the 38-year-old, who has been an international referee since 2006. In total, Çakir has taken charge of 70 UEFA matches. This season, he has overseen three UEFA Europa League fixtures and four in the UEFA Champions League, including the round of 16 first leg between Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea FC in France.

Çakir will be assisted by his countrymen Bahattin Duran and Tarik Ongun. The fourth official will be Jonas Eriksson from Sweden, and the two additional assistant referees, Hüseyin Göcek and Barış Şimşek, are also from Turkey. A Turkish reserve assistant referee – Mustafa Emre Eyisoy – completes the refereeing team.

This is the guy who gifted Madrid the victory over United.

It's alarming he can be given such a big game after giving one stupidest red cards ever in the history of the game.
