A player with his level of talent and selflessness is something straight out of a myth or a fairytale. It shouldn't exist but it does and here he is. His penalty today was one of those moments in football that just sends a permanent message to define what Messi is.
He absolutely shat on Jonny Castro with that dribble around the back, won the penalty himself, and had the chance to get his 300th league goal. Instead he lays it off to Suarez in a brilliant move that tricked the goalkeeper and got his teammate a hat trick.
It's just one of those triumphant Messi things that'll resonate in the footballing storybooks forever. He has more of those unforgettable moments than any other player ever.
