The football first team will play three games in North America in the summer tournament being played from July 11 to August 5 in cities and on dates to be announced in late April

FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, FC Porto, Club América, ACF Fiorentina, New York Red Bulls, Los Angeles Galaxy and San José Earthquakes are the ten teams that will be playing in the 2015 International Champions Cup in North America from July 11 to August 5, which features a total of 17 games that will be screened in more than 160 countries around the world.
Relevent Sports, a division of RSE Ventures, a multinational sport and entertainments company that focuses on new technologies, announced the teams chosen for this edition of the tournament on Wednesday. The idea is to offer fans around the world the chance to watch their favourite teams live.
Barça will play three games in North America. The host cities and the competition format will not be revealed until late April at an event in New York to which all of the participant teams will be sending representatives

International Champions Cup North America

The International Champions Cup North America is an annual summer football tournament organised by Relevent Sports and which features some of the top teams from around the world. Owned by Relevent Sports and RSE Ventures, it takes these teams to iconic sports venues in North America, Australia, Europe and China. Last year it was played in 13 North American cities and was won by Manchester United.
Since it started in 2013, more than a million football fans have packed stadiums to watch the game live, along with a further 700 million spectators around the world. Thus, the 2015 edition of the tournament has been expanded to Asia and Australia.

I guess it will be without Neymar, Messi and Mascherano.

I guess it would be the ideal time for some of the younger players to make a good impression to be a part of the 1st team squad(Deulofeu in particular)

Samper, Halilovic, Munir, Sandro and Adama are the most likely participants. Other young guys who have a chance to join pre-season are Grimaldo, Babunski, Bagnack and maybe even Kaptoum.

Glad to hear Barca won't play until Jul 23.

This tournament was a big hit in the U.S. last summer, several top teams took part, including RM. The caliber of play was pretty high, RM kicked butt. If Barca can train in northern California, the weather should be excellent.

So seems like people are pretty much agreed that Messi/Neymar/Suarez would not play in a friendly such as this? :(
I was considering the game vs Chelsea.
