    I made a list with the most impressive players from each European country based on their performances for both club and country in the last season. Many may disagree, but here how I see it:

    Gourcuff performed better than him last season IMO. Though Ribery is the better player, but performance wise Gourcuff was better.

    First off, I have plenty of friends who inform me and I'm well informed, as I write some stuff for some of biggest newspapers around (in my country), and my knowledge is something I'm proud of. Secondly it was Gourkuff's year, he was great with France and the key for the first Bordeaux league title in 10 years. Also I'll give you one million bucks if you find the site I quoted (as it doesn't exist anyway)

    Whatever, Milevskiy of Dinamo Kiev was voted for best player in Ukraine, and in the other part of the world, in South Africa, the new manager of Mamelodi Sundowns, Hristo Stoichkov, won his first game in the domestic league. Mattew Booth, that big defender plays there.
