Harry Kane

Kane playing as a false midfielder today, manager should instruct him to stay further up field.

this. its frustrating as fuck seeing Sterling the furthest player forward knowing he'll most likely bottle any chances. Kane needs to be nearest to goal, guy is a coldblooded predator

They were clearly trying to draw out the CBs and get Sterling/Lingard into the space as the CBs are a dominant pair in the air and pumping ball after ball into Kane in the box might not work.

You're welcome to make comparisons of your own.

Dude plays like a #9, has very good balance and isn't your bog standard rigid English mofo. Very few #9 like this across the continent.

He's like Shearer if anything, nothing spectacular and relies heavily on service.

Really needs to get away from Spurs in the near future, wasting his career at that club.
Maybe for RM, maybe for another top club, but he needs to go and win some trophies.

Or he somehow wins a major trophy with Spurs which would make him immortal. I am not a fan of Kane or Tottenham but it would be special.

Wow. This England team tactic is basically, get the ball to Kane and try to win a free kick/corner. Take the corner/freekick and try to win a penalty. Absolutely dire stuff, but Kane is doing pretty well at pulling off this Rugby 3 point conversion approach to football.

I'd hate it as a Barca fan but Madrid should be his next destination. the guy is a goal machine, give him the service Cristiano has had and he'll bang goals in for fun

The media would tell you they are playing the beautiful game.

So what? Ronaldo relies on service. Lewandowski relies on service. He's more like Zlatan, who also relies on service, with Kane having quarter the amount of flair and no ego coming in the package.

With Kane it doesn't even matter he's a bit slower than City-type forwards, defenders bounce off him anyway.

Probably LeBron is too far, yes, mea culpa. But I couldn't think of a reasonable blend of a strong forward who manages to not go to ground and is so massively respected as a presence on set pieces that a lot of times the only way to stop him is to double up on him or foul him. Lewa was after chosen as the parallel by the English media, which is fair enough on skill, but Harry puts teams on his back. Like literally.

Kane would disagree with your "claim".
