Paulo Dybala

Ode to Django

It would be a step forward in my opinion. In the last five years Atletico had been better than Juventus. Don't forget that they almost won the Champions league until the scrappy goal from RM. They have beaten Bayern, Barca (twice). I would say they are better than Juventus.

And Individually, as I mentioned earlier, simeone is the best in developing players as far as I have known.

mate what

Griezemann is around 5m pounds net. That aint much.

Juve is richer than Atletico.

Not to mention an attacking player like Dybala might not necessarily flourish in Simeone's defensive system.

Says its 10m pounds for Griezmann. Friends who support Atletico (and hate Griezmann) always say he's got the highest salary in the history of the club (12m euros) and that they can't wait to see him gone.

Dybala's 'round 3m euros.

I think he'd fit them just fine. Atletico is changing and they can play some real football with their main core leaving... also, Dybala plays for Allegri's Juve.

But both of them play similar position as a secondary striker. Also, if they buy Dybala to replace Griezmann they would buy few more players considering that his wage is less than that of Griezmann. As you said, it would be really good to see Atletico emerging as super power with three world class forwards.

I count on Griezmann as one of us. League keeping Griezmann and getting Dybala... Angelito Correa to rescue.

Lol as if Atletico could afford Dybala. Even after selling Griezmann for 100m (buy-out clause), the money is still not enough to buy Dybala.

Add to that Arthur, De Jong, Hazard (possibly for Madrid). La liga would be invincible in terms of quality. Valverde would still play Paulinho though :(

Paulinho has his role which is quite important for the team. :coffee:

Arthur and De Jong are still too young to be judged. They may make it or fail, nobody knows how good they'll become.

From your previous post, nobody knows what's the number we are discussing. It'll be tough to afford anyone else. Rodrio is coming, though.
Atletico's Jew, Idan Ofer, announced he'd make some serious investments. Will be interesting to see how that goes.

e: Savić might be included in the deal.
