How many who've voted for Koke actually watch him on a weekly basis? I like Koke, but i can't tell I know his game inside out, as I don't regularly follow the player. It's easy to see even with limited viewing he's a hardworking technically skilled player, but he doesn't strike me as someone who sets the pace of the game. In his last 3 seasons for Atlético, he's played CM 5 times only, he's been predominantly featured either wide or as an AM.

I'd rather a CM specialist (regista), over an offensive versatile midfielder who can play deep, but isn't his primary instinct/game.

I watch almost every Atletico match. When he is "wide" on the wing, that doesn't mean he runs and crosses. They (Atletico) change their positions during the match a lot, so Koke does appear in the centre and controls the game quite well. Also, for Spain he has shown he can be great in that position.

Ur right, he doesn't. Decent enough in he box tho but not great on the ball.

Arda tho ;-)

Koke does not fit Barcelona. He likes to build up quick actions, crosses, long balls. He shows nothing under del Bosque, which was an easier place to show up than Barca. I meant the way Barcelona are playing is far more tiki-taka style than Spain. From Atletico, the only one who has enough technique for Barca is Arda (from offensive players) and I doubt He would make more influence than Rakitic does...

I think Turan is far sharper than Rakitic. Dunno about his defensive workrate.

Sell Neymar. Buy Reus and Gündogan. Less jersey sales, better team.

I have thought of one player, who might be interesting for us in year 2016 when the ban probably ends: Christian Eriksen from Tottenham.

The guy is 22 years old at the moment, he has brilliant technical skills, he runs more than 95% of the players in Premier League, he can score goals and his freekicks are amazing! He can play CM and AM, which makes him a perfect replacement for Xavi, IF he can improve until 2016.

What do you guys think?

eEriksen is a good player, but he will be very expensive and he is AM,so we have player like him-Cesc,but we have no place for him.Halilovic will be in the same situation.Rakitic replace Xavi very well and he will be better after some time.

Why would you sell Neymar?! Even if you're not a fan of him, I don't get you.

ANYWAY, we're facing a transfer ban.

This thread is all just wishful speculation, not reality. I was expanding on the original question:"If our ban is reduced and we are able to buy in the coming summer transfer window, who would you buy if you could only buy one of them? And where would you play him. In place of whom?"

So, Reus in place of Neymar. And, if you sell Neymar, more than enough money to buy both Reus and Gündogan- which would add both a fantastic midfielder and an excellent attacker who can play towards the wing and is more technical than Neymar. Anything you lose by selling Neymar is more than made up by the other two.

As a fan of the BVB's, Reus and Bundesliga in general, I'd like to ask those people who want to trade Neymar for Reus: How long have you watched Reus play??

I love Reus and I'd love if we could get him, but God please don't hype him as if he was only second to Messi and Ronaldo.

Neymar has much bigger potential than Reus, not just jersey-selling wise.

Yeah, trade our star young player for a guy who's constantly injured and it wouldn't be a given that he'd make it here and Neyboy is already established...\

I would be all for Reus but not at cost of losing Neymar.

That will be the most stupidest thing ever done by zubi if it happens even considering vermi transfer. Selling a world class player, a future ballon d'or and buying 2 injury prone players. Even when they are completely fit, neymar will be completely different class in the near future compared to them and his performance can not compensated by those two. It is like selling messi and buying sanchez and ozil.
