Adama has the ability but he`s unbeliveably selfish. Every time he got the ball you knew it`ll be a solo action. Halilovic on the other hand played much more mature and almost scored a nice goal.

Was expecting much more from youngsters. Noone really showed anything except Samper, who wasn't that great either.

A bit disappointing to hear. Hopefully he stops as he gets older and develops.

I thought Halilovic looked absolute quality. Reminds me of a mix of Iniesta and Messi.. Id like to see him get more first team action as a sub especially now Iniesta is injured.

How did Adriano, Montoya, Pedro, Munir and Bartra play? :)

Munir - tried hard, but had numerous bad decisions. not a performance to remember

Pedro - his usual performance

Bartra - played okay, but defence had some serious flaws. if espanyol had better striker they would score atleast one more goal

Montoya, Adriano , Rafinha - nothing special

In my opinion only Samper and Halilovic stood out with good performances. Older players not included.

Adriano started the game as a slightly reserved RB, then moved to the left where he was more of a wing-back. Decent movement but his final product was rarely threatening

Montoya came in at halftime and his first 10 minutes were atrocious. Got turned quite a couple of times and gave up the equalising free kick. He was more composed afterwards but one could still see that he is kinda rusty from not playing. Tactically, his role was basically being on the right side of a three man defense during Barca attacks with Adama and Adriano as wing-backs.

Pedro did his usual Pedro thing: a lot of running with little results to show. However, the entire team didn't click yesterday so he wasn't worse than the others.

Bartra had a few nice dribbles into the final third but other than that he was rather mediocre. Also his long passes are still way off when compared to Pique or Mascherano

Generally speaking, the second half was interesting for seeing Barca in a 3-5-2. However the game always felt like a friendly so the big questions about this formation remain unanswered
