I would like to kill off the game rather than play the waiting game hence why I want Suarez to start. Get a lead of two goals and then go a bit deeper to keep possession, bring in Rakitic for Iniesta and kill them at their own game(Counters).

Depends on who starts at CDM.

If Mache is at CDM -> Xavi + Iniesta
If Busi is at CDM -> Rakitic + Iniesta

I don't always do polls but when I do I do private polls so people aren't afraid of voting for unpopular options (benching Iniesta for example).

Whatever Rakitic qualities may be, he is not as good as Xavi, not even a 34-year-old-with-1000-professional-matches-under-his-belt-Xavi. Plus Xavi has the experience of these matches and then some. Rakitic simply does not.

Rakitic has experience dismantling RM with Sevilla though. But for him to get that kind of freedom, Alves would have to be benched.

What are you talking about? Pedro is the best player in that group. He is the reason they won.
