RAC1 is confirming the rumors. He'll get loaned to Getafe for the rest of the season. Getafe will pay his salary. Good deal.

In this case, yes, because the club has an advantage by reducing costs. Maybe the new president could revoke it, but not so sure about that. Not that any of the candidates would do it.
Doubt anyone would pay more than 10m for him at this point.

We still have a SD who can do some deals. Club can't stop working for 3-4 months just because we're without a president.

Alena's loan to Getafe is official. Good luck.
Don't think there are any rules preventing the managing board from making signings but in our current financial sitiuation it's unlikely.
So after Alena we'll probably just look to loan out other players who don't play much like Riqui (he'll want to stay anyway), Matheus and Firpo. And if we somehow find someone willing to pay at least part of Umtiti's wages and convince him to go it would be great.
We could also sign pre-contracts with players on expiring contracts like E.Garcia and Memphis but a new president and SD will have to confirm those deals when they arrive. I'm sure Garcia will wait as he seems to really want to return but I'm not so sure about Depay doing the same with other clubs interested and some of them maybe even willing to pay a few millions to get him in January already.
We're not really in a position to spend big money on new players so we wouldn't do that even if we'd have a new president in time (which we probably won't as the elections could be pushed to February).
And we also won't make any important outgoing transfers. We would probably look to offload Coutinho but after his injury he'll stay until summer. Dembele and Griezmann are not going anywhere.

So Tusquets is as much of an idiot as Barto, great.
Possibly doesn't want to get involved in transfers without approval of candidates.
The candidates rejected the signing of Eric so they may have rejected this.
