Sergi Roberto should be an example for many youth kids. Why? Roberto was never the biggest or the most talented kid in la masia when he was young. He had talent, but he worked hard to reach a level I didn't expected him to reach. If a player like Roberto can reach that level, why can't a very talented kid with very good technical ability to do that? I understand why some la masia players leaves us. Because right now our club isn't good enough to convince our youth players that they are important. but to be honest I really hope they work hard and prove everybody wrong. With some patient and hard work I believe youth kids will get chances (hopefully) and at the end succeed.

You sound too romantic.
If Roberto made it, what you won't read in papers that there were 100 other guys like Roberto who didn't make it.

So, instead of saying: if Roberto has made it, we can make it too, a more realistic approach would be:
If Roberto made it, that means that 1 out if 100 of us will also make it.

"Believe in your dreams, work hard and you will make it" works only in movies.
As said above, in real life, 1 out of 20 or 1 out of 100 guys in every job ends in a Hollywood-like fairytale, like Roberto's story.

I am not suggesting: give up snd stop trying.
You should try to achieve your dreams but also you have to remain objective and not get deluded, and alter your expectations when life kicks you in the balls

He is just way too weak, sad really since he is talented.
Would like to see his measures, if he is 1.65 he might have a chance. But I suspect he is much smaller

Its a crime how many minutes Gomes has played when Alena is million times better than him... With Artur coming I don't understand how are we ever going to implement him, hope he gets loaned out to something like Sevilla for next season.

I prefer not to loan him out. Use him as one of our squad depth players in the first team and let him learn from the best. Instead of buying more average players, let us develope Aleña. He has alot to improve on but when I watch him play then I can see that he's way better than Denis, Gomes and Paulinho. Instead of using them over him, give Aleña some chances to prove himself because I'm sure he will be an important player in the future. Roberto had to improve when everybody thought he wouldn't make it and now we should start believe in Aleña. It will take time so we have to be patient, but at the end he will be a solid player for us in the future.

I missed the large part of 2nd half but from what I did see I thought he was good. Keeping the ball, distributing and also off the ball movement.

Think the club needs to apply some pressure on Valverde to play these most talented youngsters. There were opportunities where he could do that without risk too. I am not fan of Zidane but he is not afraid to put those kids into fire.
