he should get alot of playing time for the first team. I hope Valverde will try him in el clasico after 65 min or something. Aleña is a very good player. Some people here think he is just decent, but he was our best player in Barca B. He outshoned many segunda players and I'm happy for him.

I really hope he gets as much playing time as possible. He is better than our usual La Masia-kids (Deulofeu, Munir, Samper). Every minute Denis gets this is straight out theft from Alena, imo.

Again, EV's midfielder pecking order as things stand now IMO:

Rakitić
Busquets
Coutinho
Vidal
Arthur
Rafinha
Roberto (if needed)
Denis
Alena
Samper

And that won't change unless something major happens.

Denis: should be sold. bang average.
Coutinho: I like him as a LW. he's very good in the final third. Should be moved there.
Rafinha: I think he will go to Betis.
Roberto: bang average as a CM. Solid as a backup DM, but his best position is RB.

Only midfielders: Rakitic, Arthur, Busquets, Samper, Aleña and vidal. Samper and Busi are DM's (Vidal can also play there). puig and Oriol should get some games. I will buy an experienced press resistant CM. Pjanic is what I hoped for..

BarcaBarca: If we sell Rafinha fo Betis, then we have 22 players. Valverde said he want a small squad so he can give masia kids chances. No excuses from that coward. He's really pissing me off.

1. Suarez is unbenchable. So, he will play in the midfield.
2. Agree.
3. I agree, but if we play Bob as RB, than we need to bench Pique and play another CB.

Can someone help, I've never been quite sure how to pronounce his name. :lol: Is is A Lay Nuh? Or Al En Yar? Or something else entirely, ha ha? Thanks.

Just watched some of the training videos, looks good there. Could be back rather soon. Why is this thread not moved? Hasn't he been promoted yet?

He is officially listed as a first team player in any official list I've seen. Not sure why the mods refuse to move his thread. It's been well known he'd be promoted after last season, too.

Maybe his injury is why they won't do it?
