Paco Alcácer

Barçapocalypse NOW!
He showed glimpses of being a decent player last season, and Munir has had twice the chances to prove himself... So yeah, I would have kept Paco over Munir even without knowing he's doing well now...

just scroll back to page 63 and slowly work your way to page 100

every page is literally munir >>>>>>
or making jokes about his price tag and how useless and invisible he is
a moderator also said we should just sell for 15m and get back munir.

this was the general feeling with paco in his time with us, now that he is doing good at another team albeit might just be form people acting like we made a mistake or something.
in his time here with two manager he just didn't work for us, we got back what we paid for and we can move on now to finding players that work in our team and not others.

Spot on. All i read is a bunch of cowards not admitting their previous opinions.

Let's be honest Paco didn't show much for us and Valverde clearly wasn't a big fan of him. He naturally showed more in his career than Munir, thats why we bought him for 30M but at Barca it really wasn't impressive at all. He scored some goals here and there but always kinda felt out of place and i never saw him as a good backup here.

Confidence is important but its hard to build up when you know you'll never have the slightest chance to become a starter. Dortmund is better for him in almost every aspect and despite his injury things are just all working out for him right now. Thats great for Paco but we would NEVER talk about him right now if he had stayed. He would've probably played like 200 min now, half of that on the wing and we would still call him useless.

We could've gotten a better deal because Dortmund had no risk so higher BO wouldn't be too crazy but it was still okay to let him go. I feel like some people would rather see him rot on our bench than succeeding at Dortmund just so it doesn't look like a mistake.

25M isn't that much if he keeps it up but well its not the end of the world to earn 10-15M less on a player that exceeded all expectations.

This guy is further proof that we have and had a great squad. Alcacer was basically our backup at no9 and he's scoring for fun in Bundesliga being one of Dortmund's best players in record time. Why? Because he is a top striker that's why. But of course that without playing time, basically being used when there's something up with Suarez (and he barely ever gets injured) he built very low chemistry with the team.

Even Rafinha became starter for Inter. We are on different level with roster, but coaching/tactics are setting us back. We have a lot of quality, but shitty tactics.
