would he want to come back and fight for his place? fair play to him if he does, but at dortmund he looks happy playing a lot, scoring goals, feeling important to the team and getting into the Spanish NT because of it.

Rest for Atletico on Wednesday. This was his first start for the team, he has been slowly getting into shape and considering he played a lot of minutes for Spain recently and the result was not in doubt, there was no reason to tire him.
