Nice try for what? Txiki was more capable of getting rid of players Pep failed to use while Zubi/Roberto didn't? That is now on manager?

khaled, that's just a nonsense comment. Gomes and Arda are not players Lucho "Failed to use". The same really applies to the likes of Rakitic as well who was also a Lucho decision. It's not on Robert or Zubi to get rid of players Lucho is counting on as starters no matter how bad they are.

Dude, the nonsense is to blame the coach for player we weren't able to sell.
Chygrynsky, Caceras getting sold isn't something in favor of Pep, pretty much it was on him since they were sold with huge loss. Currently the board is way incompatible to sell those.
This way we should blame Pep for Keirrison & Henrique whom we sold after Pep, did I said sold? meant terminating contracts

Once again, Gomes and Arda and even the likes of Rakitic and Paco are not players we weren't able to sell. Lucho very much counted on them. That is where the problem is. Not only did he demand a lot of dead weight, but he utilized them as members of his nightmarish squads and openly rejected any ideas that they weren't good enough. That's how a player like Arda who openly bragged about leaving Atletico because he didn't want to run anymore is shocked to see Lucho's successor has no interest in playing players who don't want to run. This is entirely on Lucho. His squad decisions were poor and his refusal to acknowledge those decisions as poor made them even poorer purchases in the long term.

The only players of that list that remained after Pep left were Cesc and Alexis and neither one of those were Gomes/Paco/Arda tier. But nice try I guess?
And after how long were they sold?

Paco and Gomes were signed during Lucho's last season. Did you expect the club to sell them after 6 months?

How wild is it that the majority of players we need to get rid of are all dead weight Lucho personally requested?

Back on this point. It's obvious that the majority of players being sold were signed during Luchos time because:
1) He was the previous manager of the team for the past 3 seasons.
2) The deadweight of Pep's, Tito's, and Tata's had already been sold.

Very wild indeed.

Arda never 'openly bragged about leaving Atletico because didnt want to run'.

Nor did he ever come to Barca and 'not want to run'

Lies like that are pointless.

Pep wanted Chygrynsky to stay, kicked a true star out and brought a player who is horrible fit.
Was Pep more ruthless with the player he wanted out like Ibra? that is true.
But Pep gave a fair chance to everyone of his signing just like Lucho.
His awful signings was either in 2015 or 2016, the ones in 2015 had a ban and it wasn't fair to count them out in summer.
He made a mistake in signing those players just like Pep, but both were in much different situation.
And Arda comments was totally out of context.

Bottled that nice Roberto run in the last minutes. If it wasn't for his goal he would be one of the worst players on the picth along with Denis.
