And a nice one too. He might prove his worth under a new manager. He's also young. I say he can become a very capable 2nd striker. We can even play him with Suarez up top, and rest both Messi and Neymar if we want to.

That would be a logical line of reasoning if Paco was a sub for Suarez like he was signed to be, but he's not one. Paco at this point is barely trusted with a sub appearance against Gijon, no way he starts the Copa final unless something drastic happens. We'd sooner see Arda or Rafinha forced into the front line with Messi or Neymar playing striker, than Paco getting the chance to disappoint us again.

We won't see him very often as there soon will be just La Liga games anymore and both Leo and Suárez are competing for the Golden Shoe.
He can learn from the best so he might become a reasonable option next season. 30M was way too much though.
