I've watch some of his game in Celtic and McCourt's ball control is his best asset. He doesn't beat players by doing anything flashy, it's all body movement and very light touches of the ball. It's almost as if he gets around an entire team without actually moving. I always thought it made his passing ability very strong, too. He was always comfortable controlling the ball with one touch and moving it on (often with putting a lot of sudden pace on the ball) with the next. To bad that McCourt appear so mediocre in every other aspect of play.
