Because Dortmund got used to receiving a lot of money from their sales. They took 100m+ for Dembele, so from now on they will be looking to stay in that zone, or at least close to it for their hot prospects. The days when Bayern bought players from them for 30m. or so are long gone.

It's the main reason why they (Bayern) sort of lead the battalion against oil backed clubs. These clubs ruined the market, so that they can't get the players they want at a good price for them, from the smaller clubs.

Well, they can always wait for Dortmund players to run down their contracts/1 year left, because for some reason, every bundesliga player ever "dreams" of playing for Bayern, so Dortmund players would jump ship first chance they get.

Apparently so, with his brother. Maybe the German staff felt left out or something.

Here in Croatia, he's famous for a saying 'i moj brat Robert također' (and my brother Robert, too) in a video spot promoting one of the biggest parties in the country. Today they'd say it's a meme. Still mocked for it.

If Pulisic chooses not to renew, Bayern might get him for peanuts since his contract will have only one year left by next summer.

Pulisic is more of a rotation player since Sancho took over this season. He is decent, but not all that. If they buy him for like 70m then BVB makes a great deal.

Anyway, this game was a BuLi commercial in every level. Great football, teams on par, amazing atmosphere and for once great officiating. That was so fun to watch. Really enjoying to see BVB on top with such a lead on Bayern, but I'm still waiting to see if they can continue this form after the winter break.
