They have to drop their performances a little, otherwise Bayern will plunder their squad, they have to find the perfect balance.

Don't really see the point in repeating this stuff man. The only way Dortmund will manage to start keeping their big boys long-term without getting bummed is by being ridiculously good and matching contractual promises others make. Not that they seem bothered by it either, they've accepted their fate post-Klopp. Difficult to respect, but easy to understand.

Upamecano is getting better and better, what a performance by him against Bayern in the first half. Didn't lose even a single duel I believe. Positioning was terrific.

If we can't get De Ligt we should get this guy.

Apparently FCB will activate Lucas Hernandez's 85m release clause in the winter.

That doesn't make any sense. Bayern is a cheap club, their record transfer is 40 mil, and now they want to double it for a CB, while they don't have any quality wingers. Strange times ahead if Bayern starts to spend big. In two years Dembele and Coutinho will be considered bargains if this trend continues.

^ AM denied that and stated that they have a good relationship with FCB and if FCB is interested they would know.

There will be big upheaval coming for them. They have to spend big and they already said that they would spend big. their president is someone stingy. he wants to buy quality with low prices. he also said that he has unlimited budget for Mbappe, yet PSG doesn't want to sell him.

They have quality wingers in Coman and Gnabry. however, they must find consistency. They added a top talent to them and wants to sign Hudson Odoi too. it's said that Heynckess vetoed all winger canditates last summer because of not suited to their game plan and lack of big game perfonmances.

Prices inflated so much after that. Now they are offering 40 m euros for Hudson Odoi.

Can they really win it? Would be a nice story even though I prefer Bayern.

Hard to say. BVB is definitely more consistent this season under Favre but the crunch time is yet to come and the 6-point lead can evaporate in a blink of an eye.

I still think Bayern will win it, to my chagrin.

Out of the difficult games on paper, we have Eintracht next weekend, Bayern in April, and Gladbach in May. Hoffenheim and Hertha will probably be decent opponents as well. Favre is making sure that complacency won't set in. He's shrewd and knows how to motivate the team.

Well, Dortmund got a point at Frankfurt, Bayern lost at Leverkusen and we won 2-0 at Schalke.

Right now Dortmund's seven points clear of 2nd place, which is held by us.
Or maybe not, given Hoeness and his comments earlier in the season about goal difference doesn't count and Bayern's second. :p
