Neither are World Class yet. Mustafi might be ahead of Umtiti on reputation. Umtiti yet to find his feet at this level, but got all the talent in the World to reach there very soon.

Nothing to be sorry about, because it is not even remotely close to being laughable. Transfermarkt rates Mustafi at 20m. and Umtiti at 25m btw.

Mustafi and Umtiti are both around the same level. Neither is established at top level yet. Their position in their national teams are about the same as well, just short of being starter CBs.

Compared to Germanys defense I mean which is Boateng and Hummels, Umtiti has less to do to get a starting spot in France than Mustafi would have to do in Germany.

Oh if Transfermarkt rates them that way then it must be true. And if they are in similar positions in completely different national teams then that must mean they are equally good. I mean, Koscielny and Rami are just as good as Boateng and Hummels, right?

Transfermarkt hasn't updated Mustafis worth since the 15th July. Usually paid transferfees are also an indicator on the evaluation of a player by their system. Umtitis value has been updated since his Barca transfer, that's why he went up to 25m.
Mustafi who moved on deadline day for 41m will most probably be rated at 30-35m with the next update.

He looked okay at the start of the season but as the season went on he's gotten worse.

Koscielny-Mustafi doesn't seen to be working as well as Wenger had hoped.
