Can't put to bed the possibility of an upset. Logically its Germany's to lose but Algeria with their high tempo style of play are more than capable of pulling an upset

Germany to go through for sure. Would be really disappointing if they didn't.

Time for Germans to show up. Portugal win was nice but they weren't really good against Ghana and USA

    Germany starting XI:
Neuer, Howedes, Schweinsteiger, Ozil, Muller, Lahm (c), Mertesacker, Kroos, Gotze, Boateng, Mustafi

    Algeria starting XI:
Mbolhi, Ghoulam, Belkalem, Halliche (c), Lacen, Feghouli, Slimani, Soudani, Taider, Mandi, Mostefa

Löw is incredible. He sticks with his 4 CBs nonsense, even when Hummels can't play. No Durm, no Großkreutz or Lahm as Fullback. No wonder there is no attack on the wings.
Mustafi is only in the squad because Reus is injured. Löw says he doesn't play Durm or Großkreutz because they have no experience. Lol, then why is he playing Mustafi.
For me Löw is the worst coach in the world. Not just because of this decision. He had 2 years to try different things but 1 week before the WC he starts playing with 4 CBs. Players like Khedira, Özil, Kroos, Müller never gets back to do some defensive work. But they do so in their clubs. So its no wonder that Germany concede so much goals. No one gets back and the opponent runs right into the 2 CBs. No DMs there to help. Players like Hummels aren't allowed to play long balls even though its one of his strengths.
I can name so much more things. I just hate Löw. Rooting for Algeria.
Germany is lucky to face weaker teams and that the individual players are really good.
