Munir was the star of the tournament back then and has become the best of the bunch. Solid La Liga player who could also be a role player for us.

La Masia. Always so much talk about it but little results. What have they produced last 5 years? Sergi Roberto?
Did we just get super lucky with golden generation and that s it? They need to start focusing on junior players again because buying players every season for hundreds of millions is not exactly sustainable. Imagine if we have one bad season? We could be in financial trouble.

Absolutely. It's called golden generation for a reason.
We should lower expectations about the players we can get out of La Masia. If we'll produce 2, 3 or 4 useful squad players over the next 3-5 years it will already be very good. If one of those kids can turn into a starter for a few seasons it will be great. If we can get 2 or 3 longterm starters it would be unbelievable. But we'll probably never again get 6 or 7 players who will play on worldclass level for years, some of them even a decade or more.
