How many signings does Barca need?

2 GOALKEEPERS (MATS, Caballero?)

2 CENTRE-BACKS (Benatia? Laporte?)

1 VERSATILE FULL-BACK (De Sciglio? Ie promoted?)

1 CENTRAL-MIDFIELDER (Pjanic? Oliver Torres?)

1 TALL STRIKER [POSSIBLY] (Soriano?) OR 1 WINGER (Reus?)

Off the top of my head:

2 GKs
2 CBs
1 CM
1 RB

Maybe a number 9. So 6-7 signings. A winger like Reus could be a good luxury buy but is definitely not a necessity (unless Alexis leaves). We may need more signings depending on who leaves (i.e. backup wingers if Tello and/or Pedro leave, Rafinha back from loan if we sell Cesc, etc).

Depends on how much they sell and who they sell. Rather have a 20 man squad with 15 world class players than a 25 squad with 11 world class men. Therefore number of (for a lack of better words) good players leaving + 3-4 would be fine.
Voted for 3-5 though.

Yea, I think so too. 2 GKs, 2CBs, 1CM, 1ST. That 6 new signings. More if someone leaves (Alves, Cesc & others). I see that on Sport.es, the fans want 10 new signings. That's too much.

Barca need 7 signings, whether that happens this summer or the this+next summer depends on the transfer ban, availability of players and the board. I would want them to buy all 7 this summer

If we sell Alves, that list sounds about right.

1 WC CB + 1 Versatile RB able to play CB like Abidal + Ie promotion
1 pure CM
1 Clinical Forward

I feel a semi-overhaul would be good for the club (done correctly of course).

RB/CB: promote Ie (this will give us 5 CBs of which 2 can be R/L Abidals)

1 Box-2-Box Mid (Keita/Yaya): Koke/Pogba

1 CM (Xavi): Oliver Torres

1 Striker: Suarez/Aguero

With our transfer budget + sale of Dani, Song, Cesc, JDS, Alexis, Afellay, Tello, Bojan, Oier, Mascherano (he's been hinting at it, I'd like to keep him) we'll have the funds to make these transfers happen. Maybe slightly going over the budget but the Espai project can wait.

edit: lol I just re-read the players I chose and realize it could cost well over 150 million but whatever. That's the hole this board has sunk us into and they should be prepared to get us out.
