Also is laporta really the best man for the job yes he might be a hell of a lot better than current regime in some aspects an saying a lot of the right things lately but why was he voted out in last election and what other viable options is there

Laporta wasn't voted out. His tenure was over.

He wasn't voted out. He just didn't stand for re-election.

Other viable options are Agusti Benedito (he was in Laporta's opposition group L'Elefant Blau, who were against Nunez and heserved in Laporta's presidency until 2009, when he left after some dissent about some of Laporta's actions) and Victor Font.

In all honesty, i don't see laporta being the answer, not if we like to have a fresh start with how the club should be run. I'd like to have a board who run the club with competence both on the economical and football side, where barca is seen first and foremost as a football club with high standards of integrity. Laporta has made the better decisions football wise, but regarding morality, there's no difference between him or rosell or the current bunch. turning to him to solve this crisis is a bit like curing cancer with aids
