:facepalm: why, when we could get Junior Firpo, younger, better and more potential for 30m.
We need someone who is good enough to create competition for Alba. Enough to make Alba more motivated to do well to avoid any fuckups like the Anfield incident. The board will probably buy this guy or 33 yr old Filipe Luis to warm the bench and only play Copa games. Idiotic decisions after another.

Rodriguez was once highly rated as he was pretty good defensively and could act as a CB in a 3 man back line.

Problem is he's rather slow. I mean Digne was criticized quite a bit for not being all that fast compared to Alba, but he still faster than someone like Rodriguez.

spend the money and get a youngster ready to give Alba some competition. no more Boateng type players who just make up the numbers and allow our seniors to play regardless of form.

I say Felipe Luis, more of "the Arturo Vidal of left backs" than a Boateng. Keep getting left back prospects for Barca B or loan out, sure--but they won't see real playing time for a while anyway. Get a vet who can come in and fight and play at a high level for spurts if you need him too.

Why the fck we keep signing players who are backup level, keeping the positions of the veterans guaranteed. At least let them fight for their position, if all you need is a backup then why not La Masia.

We are definitely not a well run club. We are after Neymar, who is an injury prone player on top of ridiculous demands he makes every year. Griezmann who is being signed without any proper reason.

Just hurts to see Perez making excellent deals while we're still trying to keep our 30 year olds happy, with very less or nil future planning.
