Sells Malcom, loans out Coutinho and is about to get rid of another forward when we're already short there. What a president.

Mundo taking swipe at Barto. This clown is done. The board is not fully supporting him, Neymar saga damaged him pretty bad and Valverde is the ticking bomb that's going to explode to his face. No doubt he is not going to be re-elected. My fear is that the board will kick out Farto prematurely so they can distance themselves from him, appoint someone interim and promote him so there's no power shift(just like Farto did right after Rossel)

Marca said:
Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has lamented the way that the Blaugrana went after Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar this summer. The Catalans ramped up their interest in the Brazilian towards the end of the summer transfer window, offering a number of first-team players in exchange, but they were unable to come to an agreement with PSG.

Some supporters did not want Neymar to return to the Camp Nou while others believed that it is necessary in order to win another Champions League, though Font is one of those who thought they should leave the Neymar era in the past.

"It's been ridiculous," Font said when asked about the Neymar saga."I don't understand what's been done, or how it's been done, or why. I already explained in the summer that Neymar's time [at Barcelona] was a bygone era, and that his return could help the chances of winning in the short-term.

"It's another example of the lack of a project currently at the club. We were willing to offer [Ousmane] Dembele and I don't know how many more. It's been ridiculous at an institutional level.

"Every time that I can ask the club for transparency, I will. What is the real level of the club's debt? How much do we owe and to whom?"Players have been given wage rises that will still be in place when this board is gone. And let's not talk about the Espai Barca [the Future Camp Nou], which is where it is because there are no resources.

"To make the team stronger with Neymar, mortgaging the future... it does not make sense. And I haven't even discussed the most important part about how Neymar left [in 2017]: by suing the club."

The news that Lionel Messi has the power to decide his future has caused many in Catalonia to panic, with the prospect that he could theoretically leave the club in June. Font, however, is not worried."As a Barcelona member, we are concerned about his future and that's life," Font explained."One of the reasons for our 'Yes to the Future' campaign is to plan this generation for when Messi is gone. "What worries me most is how we ensure that Messi is happy here. Barcelona should surround the Argentine with the best team possible to win."
